PLC Community

PLC is not just a program, it is a community of individuals who support each other as they grow together both intellectually and socially. Scholars find that there are many ways to get involved with the PLC community outside of the classroom. PLC holds annual social events such as a progressive dinner and a formal dance. These events are not mandatory but are intended to allow the scholars time to interact on a social level and grow as a community.

The PLC Network: The PLC community also includes an extensive network of alumni, parents, trustees, and community members that continually support the program with their time, energy, and financial resources. When you enter PLC you don't just join a group of 200 scholars, but also this extensive network. More specifically you will be joining a very accomplished group of approximately 1,800 alumni who are currently working across an array of fields locally, nationally, and internationally. This network can act as an incredible resource for internships, mentorships, and job placements for scholars. Upon graduation from PLC, scholars assume their place in the PLC Alumni Network, which is supported through an alumni section of the website and annual alumni events.
