Experiential Weekend: Sustainable Agriculture A weekend for students focused on sustainable agriculture and living

Sustainable agriculture weekend is focused on farming and urban gardening throughout Colorado. Students will visit a 100% natural, family-owned dairy farm and see yogurt production from start to finish. They will also visit urban community gardens and a green house in Denver that uses new sustainable practices such as hydroponics and aquaponics. In between tours, students will meet with policy and economic experts on agriculture throughout Colorado.

PLC Experiential Weekends involve students in different aspects of Colorado Communities. PLC students attend several of these weekends over the course of their time at CU.
