CU Regent Steve Bosley To Address 1st Year Students Overseing the Univ. of Colorado has it's challenges and rewards. Steve Bosley discusses both.

CU Regent Steve Bosley will address 1st year students tonight and discuss his personal leadership path.

Class starts at 7:00 p.m. in Hale Hall.

Bosley earned a bachelor’s degree in business administration from CU in 1968. In 2003, the university recognized his dedication to higher education and his community by awarding him an honorary doctorate.  He is an experienced businessman who worked in Colorado’s banking and finance industry for more than 30 years. He served as president and CEO of an independent community bank, The Bank of Boulder, from 1974 to 1998.

A running and fitness enthusiast, in 1979 Bosley merged his entrepreneurial passion with his love of running to create the world-renowned Bolder Boulder 10K road race, a Memorial Day weekend tradition that draws more than 50,000 amateur and professional runners from around the globe, as well as an estimated 50,000 spectators.

In 2009, Runner’s World magazine recognized the Bolder Boulder as the “Best All Time 10K Race in America.”
