Panel Discussion presented by Alice Swanson [First Year Lecture] PLC's Alice Swanson will be hosting a panel discussion regarding leadership within K-12 education.

Alice Swanson, entrepreneur and business leader has over 25 years of experience in business management, recruitment and consulting. She is the founder of Learn to Earn Workshops, which provides targeted resources, one on one consulting and workshops for students as they transition from college to career. She was an instructor in Sales Management at the University of Colorado Leeds School of Business and she currently serves as STEPS Director (success training and exit planning for students) gram for the CU Athletic Department. She has conducted workshops, keynote addresses and personal consultation at universities and colleges throughout the United States. In addition, Alice has an event production and management company, and produces events for local companies and organizations. She has worked with the Boulder Chamber, Broomfield Chamber, Downtown Boulder, Inc., McStain Enterprises, Greenhouse Scholars and she created the successful fundraiser “Dancing with Boulder Stars” for the YWCA of Boulder County. She is currently on the management team of the BolderBoulder 10K Race, producing their school challenge and their EXPOS.

Prior to starting her own businesses, Alice was Executive Vice President of the Boulder Chamber. Other employment has included management positions for executive recruitment companies with offices in Denver, Boulder and Chicago. She has also held management positions in the hotel and banking industries.
