Denver Mayor Hancock to Address PLC Alums

Denver Mayor Michael B. Hancock will be the featured speaker at this year's  “Wine, Cheese and Change." WCC is presented by the PLC Alumni Association and serves as a social and networking opportunity for PLC Alums and the community.

Michael Hancock was elected Mayor of Denver in May of 2011. Mayor Hancock has been an active member of the Denver community his entire life, graduating from Manual High School. He was the City Council President from 2006-2008 and before that, he was the leader of Metro Denver’s Urban League Chapter. 

Mayor Hancock will speak briefly on his 100 days in office and look ahead to challenges facing Denver.

“Wine, Cheese and Change” takes place on Friday, November 18th, at the Rocky Mountain PBS studios on South Bannock, in Denver. The event runs from 5:30-7:30pm.
