PLC/Leeds Instructor Awarded Marinus Smith Award

September 23, 2015 Twitter

Each year, the CU Parents Association uses the Marinus Smith Award to recognize those faculty and staff members who have had a particularly positive impact on our undergraduates.  The award is named after Marinus Smith, a 19thcentury Boulder resident who made significant contributions of land and money to support the establishment of the University of Colorado in Boulder.  PLC's own Gordon Riggle was awarded the Marinus Smith award in 2015.

The beauty of the Marinus Smith Award is that honorees are nominated by those they teach, mentor, support and serve…students.  We ask you to support this process by asking your student to identify a faculty or staff member who has been particularly supportive or instrumental in promoting their success.
