Lending a Helping Hand in Africa

In May, Colorado writer Stephen Grace accompanied Jamie Van Leeuwen, senior advisor for Gov. John Hickenlooper, on a 10-day tour of Uganda and Rwanda. Grace was part of a group of Denver area policy and health advocates who traveled with Van Leeuwen in order to visit his newly launched Global Livingston Institute in Kampala, Uganda.
