About PLCThe Presidents Leadership Class (PLC) at the University of Colorado, Boulder, is built upon a passionate belief in the importance of sound leadership in business, government, education and the nonprofit sector. We believe that the education and development of leaders in all areas is vital to the future success of a civil society. The unique undergraduate program, Presidents Leadership Class (PLC), was founded in 1972. Each year 50 students apply to join a cohort of 200 top scholars on the University of Colorado Boulder campus. PLC students will be part of the next generation of leaders in Colorado and around the world. We believe that this investment in undergraduate leadership has an enormous return in terms of future social, economic, political, technological and environmental benefits. The Presidents Leadership Class also organizes seminars and networking opportunities to bring together students, alumni and friends in forums where they can exchange views and concerns on local and global issues with recognized experts. PLC contributes in a tangible way to the development of skills in business, government, education and nonprofit organizations.
